EPM712 Design of Steel and Composite Structures (PRD1 A 2017/18)

The client has requested a new theatre and arts complex to be built in the city centre. The multi-storey building is to consist of a theatre located below ground level, with a rehearsal studio, office spaces and dining facilities located on the elevated floors. The framework needs to essentially be a mixture of steel and composite elements with plentiful clear and unrestrained space, especially in the theatre and rehearsal floors. Our design team has proposed two viable solutions as per the client's requirements.

EPM715 Bridge Engineering (PRD2 A 2017/18)

A highway bridge is required to be generated so that two uneven in elevation parts of land would be connected. The span that needs to be covered is 350 metres and it crosses a 50 metres wide river channel as well as a rail station and rail lines.

EPM711 Design of Concrete Structures (PRD1 A 2017/18)-BEEBY HOUSE PROJECT

The following proposal is a summary of the design, construction and cost for a reinforced concrete multi-storey building located in the North West of England. The main aims of this project were to design a multi-storey building that is economically viable and structurally efficient. The total span to be crossed is approximately 81 metres and the maximum width of the ellipse is 25 metres. The building comprises basement car parking and six floors of open plan offices.
